Project Overview

A Reface Appointment That Became Something Much Better.

This Palm City client came to DreamMaker’s Stuart design center looking for a simple cabinet reface. Once the design consultant started showing different cabinet, counter, and backsplash options, the project grew – and grew. By the end of the consultation, a total kitchen remodel was underway. Showplace white cabinetry, Cambria quartz in ironsbridge, a relocated gas grill at the focal point of the room, a vented hood, reconfigured appliances, and a completely transformed wet bar with a statement backsplash. The client now shows off this kitchen every time someone visits.

About The Neighborhood

Palm City, Florida is one of the Treasure Coast’s most desirable communities, known for its quiet neighborhoods, scenic waterfronts, and family-friendly atmosphere. With a relaxed pace of life and convenient access to nearby shopping, dining, and beaches, Palm City offers an ideal balance of comfort, convenience, and coastal living.

The Challenge

What Wasn’t Working

Before the remodel, the space faced several challenges:

Dated Thermofoil cabinets and dark countertops throughout the kitchen
Gas grill positioned on the island rather than the room's focal point
No vented hood - limiting cooking function and the design's visual impact
Appliances in suboptimal positions throughout the kitchen layout
A built-in wet bar with no character or visual interest

Like many homes in Cave Springs, the master bath retained its original footprint — creating real functional limitations for a busy household and making what should be a personal retreat feel like an afterthought.

BEFORE:

“What started as a simple cabinet reface became the kitchen we had always wanted. Our clients entertain guests often and are always excited to show it off.”

The Solution

Built to Impress Every Guest Who Walks Through the Door.

To solve the bathroom’s layout and style challenges, DreamMaker redesigned the master bath with improved flow, custom storage, natural light, and a clean modern finish. Removing the unused Jacuzzi unlocked the footprint entirely, custom cabinetry made every inch purposeful, and thoughtful material choices brought the spa-like atmosphere the homeowners had always wanted.

Key Improvements included:

Old Thermofoil cabinets replaced with Showplace Wood Products in refreshing white throughout
Dark countertops replaced with Cambria quartz in ironsbridge
Gas grill relocated from the island to the focal point of the room
Vented hood added to maximize both cooking function and visual design
Appliances reconfigured throughout for improved workflow
Built-in wet bar completely transformed with new cabinets, countertops, and a WOW accent backsplash
