Our clients purchased this home in 2016 with plans to return after nearly a decade living in China, where they developed a love for modern, clean design with subtle Asian influences.
To bring this vision to life, we selected horizontal-grain cabinetry in a rich dark wood tone, paired with white quartz countertops and a fan-shaped backsplash inspired by traditional Asian design.
We improved functionality by extending the island closer to the main appliances, removing the raised bar for a single-level surface, and adding more storage. A double oven and additional pantry cabinet completed the space, enhancing both convenience and efficiency.
Our clients were drawn to their condominium for its stunning location and views, but the interior needed a complete refresh. After hearing rave reviews from neighbors, they came to us to create a modern coastal space that could showcase their seashell collection, using a simple palette of whites and rich dark browns.
They wanted to open up the kitchen but were unsure if it was possible due to potential plumbing constraints. Along with the kitchen, we also updated the wet bar and refreshed a dated mirrored dining wall. We achieved their vision with dark brown Shaker-style cabinetry, white finishes throughout, and enhanced storage with drawer-based base cabinets. When a pipe was discovered in the new layout, we seamlessly concealed it within a tiled column that blends into the backsplash.
The wet bar was reimagined with new cabinetry and open shelving for display, while the dining mirror was elevated with custom trim. The result is a bright, modern coastal kitchen that beautifully reflects their style.
These clients recently downsized and wanted to transform their master bathroom into a spa-like retreat that matched the elegance of their home. They requested an easy-access tub, an open layout with plenty of light, and a palette of greys and whites.
After exploring finishes in our design center, we created 3D renderings and reviewed them in virtual reality, which excited the clients to start right away.
We removed a dated tub and wall, added a free-standing tub on dark grey “pebble” tile, and extended the pebble texture into the shower floor and vertical accent wall. A glass wall welcomed natural light, while a furniture-style vanity added refined elegance. The result is a bright, modern spa-like master bathroom that the clients absolutely love.
