Project Overview

Part of a Whole House Remodel. The Master Bath Was a Beautiful Space.

This Palm City master bathroom was part of a complete home remodel – and DreamMaker made it one of the standout results. Soffits came down to open the ceiling. Angled cabinetry was eliminated for symmetry. A whirlpool tub that was eating floor space gave way to a large barrier-free shower with a rain showerhead and body sprayers. Glass tile and salmon wallpaper create a unique and striking marriage of color and texture.

About The Neighborhood

Palm City, Florida is one of the Treasure Coast’s most desirable communities, known for its quiet neighborhoods, scenic waterfronts, and family-friendly atmosphere. With a relaxed pace of life and convenient access to nearby shopping, dining, and beaches, Palm City offers an ideal balance of comfort, convenience, and coastal living.

The Challenge

What Wasn’t Working

Before the remodel, the space faced several challenges:

Soffits making the ceiling appear lower and the space feel compressed
Angled cabinetry in the vanity area disrupting symmetry and wasting usable space
A whirlpool tub consuming significant floor space without delivering comparable value
A shower that was too small for a master bathroom of this footprint

Like many homes in Cave Springs, the master bath retained its original footprint — creating real functional limitations for a busy household and making what should be a personal retreat feel like an afterthought.

BEFORE:

“The barrier-free shower with the rain head and body sprays is everything we wanted. And the combination of glass tile and wallpaper is something we never would have imagined – but it works perfectly.”

The Solution

Built Around Symmetry, Space, and Striking Detail.

To solve the bathroom’s layout and style challenges, DreamMaker redesigned the master bath with improved flow, custom storage, natural light, and a clean modern finish. Removing the unused Jacuzzi unlocked the footprint entirely, custom cabinetry made every inch purposeful, and thoughtful material choices brought the spa-like atmosphere the homeowners had always wanted.

Key Improvements included:

Soffits removed throughout and recessed and pendant lighting installed in the ceiling above the sink area
Angled cabinetry in the vanity eliminated to create symmetry and maximize storage above and below the countertops
Whirlpool tub removed and replaced with a large barrier-free shower
Rain showerhead and body sprayers installed in the new shower
Glass shower tile and salmon wallpaper combined for a unique and distinctive design statement
