Project Overview

Bold, Blue, and Completely Stunning.

Part of a complete home remodel, this Palm City kitchen transformation began with removing the wall between the kitchen and dining area. With the wall gone and the soffits removed for taller Showplace cabinets, DreamMaker designed the room around an oversized navy island with white hood, backsplash, and Cambria countertops. Metallic gold accents tie it all together. The old breakfast nook became a wet bar/coffee area, and the window was replaced with a pass-through counter that floods the kitchen with additional natural light.

About The Neighborhood

Palm City, Florida is one of the Treasure Coast’s most desirable communities, known for its quiet neighborhoods, scenic waterfronts, and family-friendly atmosphere. With a relaxed pace of life and convenient access to nearby shopping, dining, and beaches, Palm City offers an ideal balance of comfort, convenience, and coastal living.

The Challenge

What Wasn’t Working

Before the remodel, the space faced several challenges:

A wall separating the kitchen from the dining area blocking light and connection
Soffits limiting ceiling height and cabinet size throughout
A breakfast nook that was underutilized and could serve a better purpose
A window placement that blocked natural light rather than channeling it

Like many homes in Cave Springs, the master bath retained its original footprint — creating real functional limitations for a busy household and making what should be a personal retreat feel like an afterthought.

BEFORE:

“The navy island against the white hood and Cambria countertops is everything we imagined – and the metallic gold accents make it feel elegant rather than trendy. This kitchen is a masterpiece.”

The Solution

Built Around Navy, White, and Gold.

To solve the bathroom’s layout and style challenges, DreamMaker redesigned the master bath with improved flow, custom storage, natural light, and a clean modern finish. Removing the unused Jacuzzi unlocked the footprint entirely, custom cabinetry made every inch purposeful, and thoughtful material choices brought the spa-like atmosphere the homeowners had always wanted.

Key Improvements included:

Dividing wall between dining area and kitchen removed to open the space and maximize natural light
Soffits removed to accommodate taller Showplace cabinets with classic crown molding
Oversized navy island designed with ample storage and seating to replace the breakfast nook area
White hood, backsplash, and Cambria countertops balancing the bold navy
Metallic gold accents tying the full palette together
Old breakfast nook transformed into a wet bar/coffee area with maximized cabinet storage
Window removed and replaced with a pass-through countertop increasing natural light in the kitchen
