Project Overview

A Closet That Finally Matches the Elegance Around It.

This Tequesta client had very specific needs: serious storage for shoes and handbags, a washer and dryer that needed to stay, and a space that felt elegant and sophisticated rather than purely functional. DreamMaker removed the dated bi-fold doors, installed custom cabinets with mirrors that made the small space feel larger, added a beaded chandelier for elegance, and built a custom cabinet to completely conceal the washer and dryer. Only the client knows it’s there.

About The Neighborhood

Tequesta, Florida is one of Palm Beach County’s most desirable small communities, known for its quiet, upscale neighborhoods, natural beauty, and laid-back coastal lifestyle. Tucked along the Intracoastal and just minutes from beaches, it offers a relaxed pace of life with easy access to dining, recreation, and nearby Jupiter’s vibrant amenities.

The Challenge

What Wasn’t Working

Before the remodel, the space faced several challenges:

Dated bi-fold doors that delivered no elegance or storage efficiency
A need for specialized storage for a large collection of shoes and handbags
A washer and dryer that were an eyesore but could not be relocated
A small space that needed to feel larger and more refined

Like many homes in Cave Springs, the master bath retained its original footprint — creating real functional limitations for a busy household and making what should be a personal retreat feel like an afterthought.

BEFORE:

“The mirrors make it feel twice the size and the chandelier makes it feel like a boutique. And the hidden washer/dryer cabinet was the detail that made the whole room possible.”

The Solution

Built Around Elegance, Function, and the Art of Concealment.

To solve the bathroom’s layout and style challenges, DreamMaker redesigned the master bath with improved flow, custom storage, natural light, and a clean modern finish. Removing the unused Jacuzzi unlocked the footprint entirely, custom cabinetry made every inch purposeful, and thoughtful material choices brought the spa-like atmosphere the homeowners had always wanted.

Key Improvements included:

Dated bi-fold doors removed entirely
Custom cabinets with mirrors installed throughout - making the small space feel significantly larger
Beaded chandelier added to the center of the room to reinforce the elegant, sophisticated feel
Custom cabinet built around the washer and dryer unit - concealing it completely within the design
