A dated, underused bathroom became a light-filled spa retreat built for a family that never slows down.
A Corner Jacuzzi Out, a Walk-In Shower In
This Pleasant Prairie master bath had stopped matching how the family actually lives. An unused corner Jacuzzi took up prime floor space, the shower was small and enclosed with very little natural light, and dated cabinetry left nowhere for the storage and vanity setup they needed. They came to us for a bathroom remodel that would open the room back up.
Removing the Jacuzzi freed the footprint for a much larger walk-in shower. A new double vanity went in with herringbone tile running to the ceiling, custom cabinetry with glass shelves anchors the feature wall, and adjustable mirrors with modern lighting brightened the whole room. Large-format floor tile and a lighter wall and trim palette finished it, and replacing the windows brought in daylight without giving up privacy.
