Project Overview
From Spec to Custom - One Shower at a Time.
When this Bella Vista homeowner purchased his home, the master bathroom came standard – a builder grade shower and tub insert that checked the box without making any kind of statement. He had a clear picture of what he wanted instead – a doorless walk-in shower with multiple jets, custom tile, and the kind of luxury feel that a spec bathroom never comes close to delivering.
DreamMaker’s designer Mary brought that vision to life with a design that covered every detail – from the Carrara tile and rain head down to the grab bars and enlarged supply lines needed to power it all.

About The Neighborhood
Bella Vista is one of Northwest Arkansas’s most beloved outdoor communities — a picturesque, family-friendly city with spectacular lakes, world-class biking trails, and a relaxed, resort-like pace that belies its convenient access to the thriving corporate hubs of the region.
The Challenge
What Wasn’t Working
- A builder grade shower and tub insert with no custom character or design intention
- No walk-in configuration - the existing setup required a door and felt enclosed
- Standard single showerhead with no body spray or rain head capability
- Supply lines undersized for the multi-jet system the homeowner wanted
- A bathroom that felt like every other home on the street rather than his own
The starting point wasn’t broken – it was just generic. And generic wasn’t good enough.
BEFORE: THE ORIGINAL KITCHEN
“Mary helped me design and select the materials to replace a tub shower combination with a walk-in tile shower. The completed shower came out just as I envisioned it and I am extremely satisfied. I would certainly make DreamMaker the first stop in any future remodeling I may desire.”

- Full removal of the builder grade shower and tub insert
- Doorless walk-in shower configuration with low curb for easy access
- Carrara 12x24 inch tile throughout with matching Carrara decorative accent and mosaic floor
- Bizo ceiling rain head, body sprays, and handheld shower nozzle
- Enlarged supply lines installed to deliver proper pressure and flow across all shower jets
- Shampoo niche built into the tile work for a clean, custom finish
- Grab bars integrated into the design for both current comfort and future accessibility
- Schluter waterproofing system throughout
