How it all began...
The construction company success dream all began with Fred Chapman, who, as a teen, became interested in building and construction. His first job was building underground tunnels in his father's business which he found to be fascinating and challenging. From there, he has continued in various forms of construction, learning all phases and aspects of residential building. In 2005, with great consideration, Fred decided to become a franchise owner with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. After learning more about the franchise opportunity, Fred said he felt he could benefit from the training and guidance the business systems could bring to the table. He has found the franchise has helped to set the business up with great advantage in the marketplace. Likewise, Fred felt the Code of Values could be a vital part of what the business needed in order to be stronger and more effective. It provides strength and guidance in the every day challenge of decision making.
In 2008, Fred's wife, Melody entered the business as bookkeeper and office manager. After 7 years, her job responsibilities have moved to marketing and ownership management duties, helping in a many areas of the business. Through the past 13 years, the business has grown in strength in everyday processes and in stability through the systems provided by DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. It has given clarity and a stronger sense of purpose in our approach to business. Being a DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen franchise has deepened our roots in the Bay Area and has given us more clear direction in business.
