CARPENTER’S HELPER
Salary: Salary Commensurate with Experience
This position will collaborate with all departments in a team spirit with the primary goal of fulfilling our company MissionCode of Values
Receiving work orders from the Lead Carpenter
Arriving onsite at the time that has been prearranged by the Lead Carpenter
Treating all property owners and their homes with courtesy and respect at all times
Preparing jobs for next day's work before ending the day
Completing every job as per specifications
Cleaning up job site at the end of each day, as well as when the scope of work has been completed
Arriving at work in a clean truck and a clean uniform
Starting time is usually 7:30am unless otherwise stated because of client needs
Assisting with shop/warehouse tasks
Following the DreamMaker Code of Values
Minimum of two years of construction experience
Experience working with residential trade contractors
Understanding of construction basics
Carpentry and general construction trade skills
Exceptional customer relation skills
Ability to communicate and work using effective oral and written skills
Effective time management and problem-solving skills
Must be self-motivated
