Project NameMulti-Generational Concept Auxiliary Dwelling Unit: Kitchen
Location Minneapolis, Minnesota
Project Summary Our clients’ aging parents needed a convenient place to live and liked the idea of living near their son and daughter-in-law but still maintaining their privacy and independence. Since potential disability was a factor, the home needed to be accessible. The solution was a stacked-up ADU (accessory dwelling unit) built above the two-car garage at our clients’ home in the city. We successfully designed the critical kitchen and bath areas by blending accessibility features and modern aesthetics. Here is the kitchen.

Project NameKitchen Long Planned
Location Golden Valley, Minnesota
Project Summary This kitchen remodel was 20-plus years in the planning. It was a priority when our clients first moved in, but then life happened. Finally, the driving force was the need for new appliances, and that opened the door to many possibilities for our clients’ new kitchen. Our designer interpreted their ideas and presented several plans that were narrowed down to the one for the kitchen that became the heart of their home.

Testimonial “DreamMaker was absolutely wonderful in every way. From the beginning they were clear about the process and possible outcomes. They made selections for our options that were varied but right in line with what we asked for. And their confidence in the work they do and the people they have delivering the remodel was validated in the final product. They really did a phenomenal job, and everything is just the way we wanted it. Very highly recommended! Thanks very much all!”
