Consider coordinating your outlets and electrical plates with the color of the backsplash tile. However, if you don’t want outlets to be in sight, consider a pop-up outlet that disappears into the countertop.
2. Kitchen Cabinets
Get creative with your kitchen cabinets to maximize storage space. A pull-out cabinet that measures nine to 15 inches wide allows you to check and grab items with ease. If you have a cabinet that’s wider than 15 inches, consider roll-out drawers instead. This way, you can better utilize the space at the back of the cabinet.
3. Kitchen Shelving
In the absence of tall storage, the inside of an upper wall cabinet can be partitioned vertically. This way, you can store trays and other long items on their sides. If there’s more storage space available, consider adding a shelf above these divisions. Adjustable shelves can be placed on the other side if there’s no need for tray storage.
