• Floor materials will add to the cost of your kitchen renovation, but a galley kitchen needs flooring for a small area, which means you can save.
• It’s easier to reach for what you need when you’re working in a galley kitchen.

Galley Kitchen Cons

Galley kitchens offer plenty of advantages but, just like anything else, they do have their own challenges. Here are some of them:

• The first disadvantage of a galley kitchen is the small space. It can be hard for two or more cooks to work at the same time.
• There is less countertop space and storage areas.
• A galley kitchen is not the ideal kitchen remodeling option if your intention is to increase the market value of your home.
• Sink configuration options are limited.
• Oversized appliances and services are out of the question.

Despite its limitations, a galley kitchen is a less expensive option if you’re thinking about renovating your dated kitchen design or trying to enlarge the space in adjacent rooms.
