Picture Perfect Kitchen

Project Name
Picture Perfect Kitchen
Project Summary
These homeowners are purposeful with their home and very genuine in their relationships. They enjoy quality but not pretentious surroundings, and they cook and enjoy grandkids in their home, so true functioning space was important. The results of this picture perfect kitchen remodel speak for themselves. Although an all-new space, it feels like you grew up there and just came home for a nice long rest.
Project Story
As these homeowners were enjoying living in their renovated farmhouse outside of town, this second home of theirs was being rented out. Located in a prominent neighborhood and near the park, it had all the potential for something special, just waiting for the right time for their move into the city. It was probably the draw of seeing grandchildren more frequently that brought on the move. With renters moved out and nothing of theirs moved in, major renovation could take place without personal disruption. Achieving an open concept meant a load bearing, original exterior brick wall of the home would need to be removed. The clients had specific design wants that we were able to incorporate into their farm house dream kitchen. These included built-in furniture style elements, glass cabinet doors, butcher block, subway tile and beadboard backsplash, white apron sink, and a customized paper towel nook just for her. They also wanted the colors to consist of grays, whites, and blues. The results of this picture perfect kitchen are stunning, and although an all-new space, it feels like home.
