Position Lead Carpenter
Salary 50k to 62k
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    • Supervise and coordinate carpentry activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
    • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Review blueprints and plans to determine the scope of work and material requirements.
  • Carpentry Skills:
    • Perform high-quality carpentry work, including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, trim work, and finishing.
    • Install and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
    • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
    • Suggest improvements to processes and techniques to enhance overall productivity and quality.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure the work environment is safe for all team members.
    • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of 5 years in residential construction.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
