There is no higher priority than the health and safety of our team and our clients, and we are doing what we can to respond to the evolving situation. We are closely monitoring and adapting our practices by following the most recent recommendations of the\u00a0Centers for Disease Control (CDC)<\/a>\u00a0and the guidance of local officials.<\/p>\n

We stand committed to an effective response. We will do everything we can to protect the health and well-being of our team members and our clients. We take this situation very seriously. While the environment is changing every day, at present, we are focused on:<\/p>\n

Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are closely monitoring the best practices outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and regularly share this information with the entire team. We are committed and resolved to implement new procedures as information becomes available.<\/p>\n

Healthy Habits<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have communicated to our staff that the CDC promotes healthy personal hygiene as the most effective way to decrease the spread of viral disease. This includes staying home when sick (especially with a fever and\/or respiratory illness), coughing and\/or sneezing into an elbow or using a tissue to cover ones nose and mouth and then immediately discarding the tissue, thorough washing of hands which includes scrubbing frequently with hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds (if no water is available, use a disinfectant), and avoiding the touching of ones eyes, nose, and mouth. Contact with others is also to be avoided. Please do not be offended if we do not shake your hand.<\/p>\n

Cleaning supplies,\u00a0anti-bacterial hand soap, and hand sanitizer are being made\u00a0available at our design center and job sites as\u00a0practical. We are challenged by the same shortages as everyone else.<\/p>\n

Empowerment\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

If a DreamMaker team member is meeting with or near someone that they feel is sick, they are empowered to constructively leave the meeting to protect their health.\u00a0 This\u00a0practice is to be followed in all\u00a0circumstances.<\/p>\n

Minimizing Exposure<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On the job site:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We\u00a0have asked our team to erect plastic partitions as feasible around the work\u00a0area\u00a0to separate the work site from client living areas.\u00a0\u00a0We also rigidly adhere to the lead safe work practices mandated by the EPA which may be helpful in minimizing exposure. These precautions include containment, careful removal\/disposal of material, and HEPA air scrubber clean up procedures.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In the design center:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We will be\u00a0disinfecting common areas (i.e. entry doorknobs, meeting rooms, coffee machine areas, etc.) in between meetings in our design center.<\/p>\n

Customized Solutions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every home and every renovation project is unique.\u00a0Our team is\u00a0prepared to address any concerns or additional precautions you would like to discuss.<\/p>\n

Our Clients\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will do what we can to\u00a0protect your health. We expect the same in return. If you\u00a0have had any exposure or illnesses, please let us know so that we can adjust accordingly.<\/p>\n

Events<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unless it is cancelled, we will be participating in the Reno Home Show March 27-29 as we had planned.\u00a0 However, we have decided to cancel future seminars until further notice. When we restart future seminars, they will be listed in the Event section on our website (in the About menu).\u00a0 We will continue to schedule individual design center appointments for our customers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are remodelers, not\u00a0Epidemiologists. We are not sure what\u00a0tomorrow brings. There will be changes and adjustments to our plan, and plenty of uncertainty lies ahead. But we are certain that the health of our team and our clients is our highest priority.\u00a0From\u00a0that, we will not waiver.<\/p>\n
