Nature Framed in Modern Contrast

This remodel reimagined a tight, outdated layout into a bright, spa-like retreat by removing the bulky tub deck, expanding the corner shower, and reworking the floor plan to improve flow and function. A key challenge was maximizing limited square footage, strategically relocating plumbing to accommodate a freestanding tub and floor-mounted filler while maintaining openness and accessibility.

A bold black-and-white solid surface tub, seamless glass shower with integrated bench, and organic-textured feature wall create striking focal points, while lighter cabinetry, layered lighting, and durable porcelain and quartz surfaces deliver brightness, longevity, and low maintenance. The result fulfills the client’s goal of a modern, cohesive space that balances beauty and performance.

Kitchen Remodeling

Where Warmth, Function, and Family Seamlessly Meet

The project reimagines the heart of the home into a warm, modern kitchen tailored for a large, food-loving family. By carefully analyzing the existing layout, we resolved spatial constraints that once made cooking and gathering feel crowded. A custom-built dining nook ensures the entire family can sit together comfortably, while the expanded layout allows for multiple tasks, cooking, baking, and entertaining, to happen simultaneously without congestion. Relocating existing HVAC to accommodate a streamlined hood and thoughtfully integrating multiple appliances ensured functionality remained seamless, with the range serving as a subtle focal point rather than visual clutter.

Balancing a luxury aesthetic within a tight budget presented another key challenge. After investing in a premium cabinet package with imported European white oak, we elevated the overall design through intricate, modern trim detailing and carefully selected light, high-performance countertops and flooring. Continuous under-cabinet and island toe-kick lighting adds warmth and dimension, enhancing both ambiance and usability. The result is a bright, inviting culinary hub that feels expansive rather than dark and dated, delivering on the client’s goal of a beautiful, durable space where the entire family can gather, cook, and connect with ease.

Kitchen Remodeling

From Confined and Dated to Light-Filled and Functional, A Kitchen Designed for Modern Living

Once confined and dated, this kitchen was completely reimagined to create a more open, inviting space at the heart of the home. The homeowners’ primary goal was to remove the restrictive peninsula and replace it with a functional island that would improve flow, storage, and everyday usability. To achieve a larger, brighter feel, we removed the dropped soffitted ceiling and opened the adjoining wall to allow space for a thoughtfully designed island. A two-tone cabinetry palette adds depth and character, pairing rich wood tones at the island with soft blue perimeter cabinetry, while transitional LED lighting over the island brings warmth and a fresh, updated aesthetic.

Behind the beauty lies meticulous craftsmanship. Uneven walls and out-of-plumb ceilings required precision carpentry to ensure cabinetry, crown, and sightlines aligned seamlessly. Additional custom cabinetry and built-in shelving were creatively integrated to maximize storage without overwhelming the footprint. The result is a space that feels expansive, balanced, and highly functional, a kitchen designed to meet the homeowners’ goals while elevating the entire living area. 

Bathroom Remodeling

A Dramatic Spa Transformation Defined by Light, Architecture, and Precision Craftsmanship

This once dark and outdated bathroom was completely reimagined into an elegant, light-filled retreat designed for timeless appeal and everyday luxury. The homeowners wanted a larger bathing area, elevated finishes, and additional storage , all while preserving the home’s hydronic heated flooring system. Walls were removed and the layout reworked around challenging room angles to create a more open, functional space. A dramatic freestanding tub, craned into the upper story due to access limitations, now serves as the architectural centerpiece, filling from a ceiling-mounted fixture. A new window enhances natural light, while custom slab sinks, a floating quartz shower bench, added water-closet cabinetry, and a hydronically heated towel warmer deliver both sophistication and comfort.

Behind the beauty was significant coordination and craftsmanship. The existing heated flooring had to remain, requiring careful material selection to seamlessly tie new finishes into the original tile. Engineering a high-end plumbing system to support the ceiling-mounted tub filler added complexity, as did sourcing materials and skilled trades during the COVID outbreak. The result is a refined, spa-inspired space that achieves the client’s vision of elegance, functionality, and thoughtful design.
