Ranges take up less space in the kitchen compared to wall ovens, one of the most attractive advantages. This is because the range combines the oven and cooktop surface in one appliance, which is a big win for homeowners with a smaller kitchen space. 

In terms of disadvantages, ranges aren’t as easily accessible as wall ovens since the oven feature is located beneath the cooktop. To access it, you have to bend, which can pose a problem for people who have back issues. Cooking capacity can also be limited compared to wall ovens unless you go for a 60-inch range.
