You may not want that material exposed now, but it could appeal to potential purchasers when you sell your home.
2. Get help with future projects. A contractor might use images obtained during renovations to update designs. Photos might also show hidden pipes and electrical wiring behind walls. You or future owners may need or want more adjustments. Take images of exposed pipes, cables and other elements so future contractors know what to expect.

Knowing what each company did and where they did it can help you to determine who is at fault if a problem arises, avoiding situations where contractors blame each other for an issue.
4. Impress potential buyers. In the future, you want potential buyers to see your home as a sound investment. Renovation photos can generate a great impression and convince buyers that you spent a lot of money upgrading your home. You may be able to sell your property for more and recoup a bigger portion of your investment.
5. Capture the details. Imagine going back in six months to make further changes. It’s easier to plan ahead when everything is photographed. This can save you a lot of time and money!
