- Retro appliances. The retro trend is also strong in appliances. This includes colorful ‘50s-era fridges and even replicas of antique wood-burning stoves. By adding these to your home, you can have an element that adds elegance and historic value to your home.
- ‘70s colors. Whites and neutral colors have dominated home design in past years but hues that were popular in the 1970s — such as avocado green, orange and tans — are steadily making a return to interior design. They add pops of color to the neutrals that homeowners have favored for so long.
