Owner and President Glen Borkowski founded Kraftwerks Remodeling, Inc. in 1991, turning his vision of a client-focused, high-quality remodeling company into a trusted name throughout the southwest suburbs of Chicago. His background as an award-winning high school teacher continues to shape his approach—emphasizing clear communication, education, and a smooth, confident experience for every homeowner.
Glen holds both Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designations—credentials earned by fewer than 3% of remodelers nationwide. In 2007, he joined the DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen franchise, aligning his local expertise with a nationally respected brand known for professionalism and integrity.

Meet with a DreamMaker designer in our Design Center to share your vision and inspiration. Next, we’ll schedule your home survey and design review.
We’ll visit your home to measure, photograph, and review any structural or system needs, ensuring your plan and estimate are precise. Then, we’ll schedule your design review.
We’ll go over your custom designs and finalize a plan that reflects your vision. Along with the designs, you’ll get detailed proposals so you can see the costs and make informed choices.
The contract lays out your project scope, start date, timeline, and all necessary documents, so everyone is on the same page. We’re committed to delivering exactly what we promise.
Once your plans and agreements are set, your Project Manager will meet with you to go over the project scope, timeline, and construction process—making sure all details are clear before work begins.
Your Project Manager oversees the remodel, keeping everything on track and answering any questions along the way.
