- Attend weekly Sandler Sales Training
- Responsible for showroom staffing and answering phone calls when scheduled
- Respond to and follow up on all inquiries from prospective customers, in a timely manner.
- Complete any thank-you letters and follow-up correspondence
- Track all client information and lead follow-up by utilizing current customer management software, JobTread
- Qualify all prospective customers
- Utilize DreamMaker 7-Step Sales System
- Collect and complete DreamMaker Design/Build Retainer
- Attend all client meetings required to sell final contract
- Design main project using computer software
- Present appropriate product selection options to client that meet their needs, style and budget to assist the homeowner in all product selections
- "Collaborate with Estimator to develop accurate project proposals, ensuring attention to detail while allowing you to focus on client relationships, sales, and design solutions."
- Review all bids obtained by Estimator from trade contractors and suppliers. Make any necessary changes or give Estimator guidance for necessary changes
- Review the project scope of work and estimate that is completed by Estimator, to ensure it is clear and detailed for both the customer and other DreamMaker team members
- Review all other contract documents prepared by Estimator to ensure they are accurate and complete
- Submit final project documents to Leadership team members for final review. Make any requested revisions. Coordinate with leadership team to sell the project at company determined GPM
- Schedule Sales/Production hand-off (pre-construction)
- Schedule Pre-construction walk-thru with client and Lead Carpenter
- When change orders are necessary/requested, gather all pertinent details and submit to Estimator for completion of change order documentation. Review completed change order documentation from Estimator for accuracy prior to presenting change order to customer. Release change orders to clients
- Homeowner follow-up during construction (1-2 jobsite visits)
- Take “Before” and “After” pictures of each project
- Create short- and long-term annual sales goals. Have regular sales coaching meetings with sales manager to review goals and progress on goals
- Achieve the annual sales target at minimum
- Staff home shows and other marketing events
- Complete non-negotiables including neighborhood door hangers
- Meet with customer after project to present end-of-project gift, remind them about survey and ask for reviews
- Ask for and obtain referrals

Sales/Design Associate
Salary: Salary - Base Salary + Commission. Great benefits including Health insurance, dental, a (401)k with a 3% company match, and employee appreciation events.
Assumes a first-year sales/design associate will average $500K-$750K in sales. A second-year sales/design associate will average $750K-$1M. A competent, experienced sales/design associate will average $1M+ annually. Criteria we are looking for in this position:

- Minimum of two years of selling in the Kitchen and Bath Industry
- Experience working with residential trade contractors (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, countertops, drywall, tile and flooring)
- Extensive sales background (Sandler Sales Training preferred)
- Understanding of construction basics
- Basic computer skills in MS Office applications
- JobTread or equivalent customer management system experience preferred.
- Design software experience with 20/20 or equivalent
