About The Neighborhood
Ogden is one of Northern Utah’s most sought-after communities — a vibrant, family-friendly city with beautiful homes, tree-lined neighborhoods, and an easy pace that belies its proximity to Salt Lake City’s booming business corridor.
The Challenge
What Was Not Working
- A master bathroom that felt cramped, with a wall next to the lavatory limiting the sense of space
- Paint that was not contributing to the bright, open feeling the homeowners wanted
- No statement finishing detail to give the bathroom a distinctive character
Like many homes in Cave Springs, the master bath retained its original footprint — creating real functional limitations for a busy household and making what should be a personal retreat feel like an afterthought.
BEFORE:
“Removing that wall and adding the barn door changed the whole feel of the bathroom. It is so much more spacious and the bright paint makes it feel completely different.”

Built Around Openness, Light, and One Great Door.
To solve the bathroom’s layout and style challenges, DreamMaker redesigned the master bath with improved flow, custom storage, natural light, and a clean modern finish. Removing the unused Jacuzzi unlocked the footprint entirely, custom cabinetry made every inch purposeful, and thoughtful material choices brought the spa-like atmosphere the homeowners had always wanted.
Key Improvements included:
- Wall next to the lavatory removed to create an open-concept bathroom layout
- Bright new paint applied throughout to enhance the sense of light and space
- Beautiful barn door installed as the room's statement finishing touch
