Project Overview
A Luxurious Retreat With Mountain Charm
This spacious mountain home’s primary bathroom had high ceilings and a functional layout, but its dated finishes kept the space from reaching its full potential. Dark paint, outdated travertine tile, and a bulky tub deck made the room feel heavy, while poor lighting diminished its natural sense of openness.
The remodel preserved the existing layout while introducing lighter finishes, modern fixtures, improved storage, and spa-like features. The result is a bright, elegant retreat that blends contemporary luxury with the warmth and comfort of its mountain setting.

About The Neighborhood
Located in Morgan, Utah, this mountain home is surrounded by scenic views and a peaceful landscape. Its updated primary bathroom brings that same sense of comfort, warmth, and relaxation indoors.
The Challenge
A Dated, Heavy Space
- Outdated travertine tile throughout the bathroom
- Bulky tub deck made the room feel heavy
- Dark paint overshadowed the high ceilings
- Narrow shower felt cramped and enclosed
- Limited storage reduced everyday functionality
While the existing layout worked well, dated finishes and limited storage prevented the bathroom from feeling as bright, functional, and luxurious as it could be.
BEFORE:
“This spacious primary bathroom was high-end in its heyday – and DreamMaker gave it renewed glamour that makes it feel like a more updated kind of luxury. Every element was considered.”

Modern Comfort and Luxury
The existing layout was preserved while the finishes and features were completely refreshed. Lighter wall colours help emphasize the room’s high ceilings, while a glass-walled shower and freestanding tub create a more open feel. New natural maple cabinetry and an added wall cabinet provide much-needed storage, while radiant floor heating adds everyday comfort. A mix of antique gold and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, updated lighting, and a chandelier above the tub complete the warm, luxurious transformation.
Key Improvements included:
- Glass-walled shower for a more open feel
- Modern freestanding tub replaced bulky tub deck
- In-floor radiant heating added everyday comfort
- Natural maple cabinetry improved storage
- Added wall cabinet for additional storage
- Updated lighting with chandelier above tub
- Antique gold and bronze fixtures
