Project Summary
Renovation of a 12 year old master bathroom with a wall enclosed shower and Jacuzzi tub to create a more airy, open space with a spa feel.
Project Story
The client wanted an enlarged custom tile shower with glass. In order to accomplish the feel that the client was wanting, the Jacuzzi tub and the window over it was removed. The window was replaced with a smaller but higher one that would be in the shower. The shower included an arabesque mosaic on the shower control wall, a bench seat, shampoo niche and frameless glass walls/door. A tile arabesic mosaic rug was placed at the entrance to the shower to give it a spa feel. The extra space was used for a cosmetic vanity that was custom made to match the existing vanity that was repainted to match with a white color. Vanities were covered with new quartz countertops.

DreamMaker Designer, Mary, stated “It captures the open and airy feel that the client had wanted while also giving it a luxury spa feel. Even with a smaller outside window, the space has more “light” due to the lighter colors of the cabinetry and hard surfaces, improved lighting and openness created by the frameless shower walls. I especially like the client’s willingness to let me use an arabesque mosaic for the shower control wall and on the shower entrance floor.”
