Farmhouse Kitchen

DreamMaker Designer – “The client is an artist with a studio on site, so I was able to understand her style by her work and the discussions we had. She wanted a space that allowed entertaining of her kids and grandkids but also reflected her farmhouse taste that was classic in a simple and cozy way. We were able to achieve it through use of different materials, patterns and color.

This client had purchased and moved to a barndominium  on 55 acres farm a few years ago, but the cabinetry and finishes didn’t reflect their style.  This project was a pull and replace with the same footprint but had a big impact on the feel of the space.  KDC white cabinets were used with quartz countertops to replace the old stained cabinets and Formica counters. Custom island, china hutch and hood were built and painted in a dark blue to contrast the white cabinets for color.  A Daltile floor tile was used as a backsplash to give it a country but classic feel and to pull everything together.  New LVP flooring replaced the carpet and tile that had been used to complete the space.
