Salary: Full-time hourly position based off of skills/experience, along with PTO, Health and Retirement Benefits
We are looking for a skilled craftsman that has at least 3 years’ experience in multiple aspects of remodeling. The skills we are looking for include carpentry – both framing as well as trim; tile setting, floor coverings, drywall, cabinet installation, painting, etc. The more skills a person has the better suited they will be for the Lead Carpenter position.
We are looking for people who communicate well and have good people skills. Someone who lives in Northwest Arkansas would be preferred. Values and character are important to us. We are looking for people who match up closely with us in these areas. A person’s character is even more important to us than having the exact skills that we are looking for. We believe that skills can always be learned and honed, but character is not something we can train into a person. For more information about our Code of Values, click here.
3-5 years' experience in the home remodeling or new home construction industry is preferred.
The Lead Carpenter position comes with excellent benefits, such as:
Paid holidays throughout the year
Vacation and sick days
Retirement and health benefits
A systematic approach to production, which makes the work efficient and enjoyable
The satisfaction of focusing primarily on kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Doing similar projects repeatedly allows for increased efficiency, fine-tuned skills, and greater enjoyment of the work, but never gets boring because every project has its unique challenges.
Mainly indoor projects, minimizing the delays and discomfort of bad weather
The satisfaction of working with a company that is respected for its quality, service, and professionalism
Paid training opportunities
Potential for promotion within the company
A team atmosphere where each team member is appreciated, respected, and given a listening ear by management, not treated as “hired-help”
The Lead Carpenter reports to the Production Manager. However, the Lead Carpenter is largely responsible for managing all aspects of the job.
