Get to Know Our Story
Owner and General Manager Michal Neckar built DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Madison on a foundation of technical skill and a mission to deliver excellence. Michal’s passion for remodeling began early while working on home repairs alongside his father, a mechanic. This hands-on background, which included studying electrical engineering and working in carpentry, electrical work, and painting, eventually led him to remodel his own family home down to the studs. He designed every detail and acted as his own general contractor, sparking a lifelong love for the craft.
After 15 years in client-centric fields like automotive sales and finance, Michal merged his professional standards with his passion for construction to launch the Madison franchise. In more than seven years of local service, the DreamMaker Madison team has completed over 150 bathroom and kitchen projects, earning 2026 BRAVA Magazine awards for both Kitchen and Bath design. Beyond the job site, the team stays grounded in its values by supporting local food banks and contributing supplies to Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Today, DreamMaker Madison remains dedicated to delivering exceptional creativity, craftsmanship, and remodeling experiences to every client in the community.

“We cannot speak highly enough of the DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen team! DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen blew us out of the water with their responsiveness and enthusiasm about our bathroom project. The DreamMaker team made us feel understood and supported every step of the way, from the weekly design sessions to them handling all scheduling with contractors to construction (with our work schedules in mind) and clean-up. Everyone that they work with, from the general contractor, plumber, and electrician, also were respectful and great to work with.”

“They were very open to hearing our ideas and figuring out how to make them work, both specially and within budget. Great communications throughout the project. Fantastic people to work with!”

5 Simple Steps
This takes place at our Design Center for about 1 hour. We’ll ask questions to learn about you and your needs, referring to photos you’ve sent in advance. This interactive conversation helps us create a scope of work used to develop your customized proposal.
Our second meeting is under 30 minutes. We’ll share initial design ideas and a budget range. If you’re ready, we’ll move to next step. If adjustments are needed, we’ll revise scope or budget to ensure expectations align. Retainers are $1000 for kitchens and $500 for baths.
Our designer will come to your home, take detailed measurements and photos, and look for any structural, plumbing or electrical issues that could pose challenges. We may ask our expert trade partners to join us, depending on the nature of the project.
Meet us at our Design Center for 2–3 meetings over 3 weeks. We’ll provide a clear agenda in advance. Our designer will have options for each item—fitting your style and budget, many in person. We take notes as you finalize decisions and send a recap after each meeting.
After selections, we’ll prepare and present your contract, including start date, duration, drawings or documents, and payment schedule. This ensures clear expectations before materials are ordered or work begins. Your 50% initial payment is due at signing.
This is when your project comes to life. Before production starts, we’ll share updates and a detailed schedule. Your Project Manager will meet you onsite and be your main contact, coordinating trades, sharing schedules, and ensuring final result matches your vision.
