It is during this phase of the remodeling process where you can better understand the scope of the project that fits within the kitchen and bathroom cost estimates. Here’s an overview of our design consultation process.
Meeting With the Designer
A typical design consultation with DreamMaker starts with a meeting between you and one of our professional designers. This is usually done either at the design center or through a webinar. Expect an in-depth conversation about your home and the vision of what you want your space to look like. It is during this part of the consultation where the designer will try to understand your lifestyle and determine the type of changes that will best suit your situation.
Design Survey
After the initial consultation, our team will schedule a home survey. Here, we’ll take the necessary measurements and check for structural issues that may need to be addressed before the actual remodeling project can commence. The more information we obtain, the more accurate the bathroom or kitchen estimate will be. Upon completion of the home survey, we’ll proceed to the next step.
Design Review
From the information we obtained while inspecting your home, we’ll begin crafting potential designs. Expect a handful of proposals to be presented to you in case some of the designs don’t fit with your vision. This continues until we arrive at a final design that focuses on every aspect of your dream remodel.
Written Proposal
After you approve of the final design, we’ll furnish you a detailed contract. This covers everything about the remodel, including the projected timeline, the materials that will be used to realize your vision and the permits required to get the renovation started.
