Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson

President / General Manager

Eric’s career in the construction industry started when he was 16 years old and went to work for a brick mason.  He built his first spec home when he was 22 years old – the same year he married his wife, Julie.  One of Eric’s pet peeves is seeing things that are off-center or off-level.  Maybe that is the reason he has always been passionate about getting things right and exceeding clients’ expectations throughout the remodeling process.

Eric says, “One of the most fulfilling aspects of working in remodeling is seeing the transformation at our clients’ homes and hearing their excitement over their new space.”

Prior to having 8 children, Eric used to do taxidermy as a hobby, and he made wooden fountain and rollerball pens on a lathe.  These days you can find him spending time with his wife and kids, grilling chicken wings or ribeye steaks, camping or doing woodworking.  He loves eating Indian food – specifically curry and naan.  One thing you won’t find him eating is pickled beets!

David Anderson 4784193600
David Anderson

David Anderson

Vice President / Sales

David has been working with Eric in the construction business from the very beginning – back in 2000.  Although he is Eric’s dad, he has enjoyed working in a support role to Eric and has been an integral part of building the business.  He says that he likes the atmosphere of being on a team.  “We each are looking to be a help one to another so our business presentation to our clients is one of excellence.”

The focus on excellence is evidenced in one of David’s pet peeves – being late for an appointment.  Anyone who has had a meeting with him knows that David is prepared and on time!  He loves seeing our business motto “Enhancing Lives. Improving Homes.” being fulfilled with each client.

David has been married to Connie for almost 50 years.  They are the parents of Leesa, Zack, and Eric.  When he is not working, you might find David spending time with his grandchildren hunting for Native American artifacts.  This is not surprising if you know that when he was younger, David seriously entertained the idea of pursuing archaeology as a career.  You won’t find him eating boiled zucchini, but he loves Asian food, specifically East Indian!

Leesa Anderson

Leesa Anderson

CFO / Office Manager

For 27 years, Leesa’s career was in banking with a focus on Information Technology, but she has been handling the bookkeeping for her brother, Eric, since he started his construction business in 2000. Leesa loves working on the behind-the-scenes details to keep things running well for the rest of the team. She also loves working with her brother, her dad and the rest of the team full-time now. She says, “It’s fun to work together to be the best we can be for our clients.”

Leesa’s attention to detail is what makes her enjoy being an Office Manager. So it follows that her biggest pet peeve is when she doesn’t have all the details she needs!

Anyone who knows Leesa knows two things about her – she is a devoted follower of Christ, and she adores her nieces and nephews! One of her favorite things to do outside of work is to spend time with them. She also enjoys spending time with friends, playing with her cats, Peter, Piper and Pepper, and working in her yard. “Spending time outside in the beauty of God’s creation is very relaxing for me, even if I’m getting my hands dirty working on flowers or bushes.”

Andrew Carpenter

Andrew Carpenter

Production Manager

Andrew has been working with DreamMaker since 2017, but he’s been working in carpentry since he started going to work with his dad’s framing crew when he was 5 years old.  His many years in the construction industry have resulted in a level of expertise that makes him a very valuable asset to our team.  Andrew says the most fulfilling aspect of his job is “turning projects from dated or worn into new and stunningly personalized spaces.”  Our clients have often complimented Andrew on his excellent craftsmanship!

In his role as Production Manager, Andrew provides invaluable training and insights for our newer Lead Carpenters.  When asked what he likes about working at DreamMaker, Andrew said, “I like the team spirit and mutual respect at DreamMaker.”

As the youngest in a family of 5 boys and 4 girls, Andrew learned the value of hard work early.  The passion he shows in his work is also reflected in his saltwater fishing.  When he’s not working, he loves to be on his boat or grilling a variety of meats.  He loves vegetables and meat, but you won’t find him eating anything spicy!

Bill Wilcox 4784193600
William Wilcox

William Wilcox

Lead Carpenter

William (better known to us as “Bill”) came to work with the DreamMaker team in 2022.  He is a licensed electrical contractor from the state of Washington and brought with him over 30 years of electrical experience, along with lots of other construction skills.  Although he has only been a part of the team for a short period of time, Bill has already proven himself to be a valuable team member!  He is meticulous in his work, which is probably why one of his pet peeves is being rushed.

When asked what he likes about working at DreamMaker, Bill said he likes the positive work environment and finds it fulfilling to bring a quality project to the client.

Bill enjoys being an automobile and motorcycle mechanic when he’s not at work, and he also enjoys building custom vehicles.  There aren’t any foods that he just doesn’t like, but being raised on the coast in Washington, Bill’s favorite food is sushi.

Burton Heatwole, Jr.

Lead Carpenter

Although Burton – or BJ, as he is known around here – has only been working in remodeling and with our team since March 2022, he has proven his ability to work hard and learn quickly.  His strong work ethic comes from working on his dad’s crop and beef farm prior to joining our team.  BJ says he likes working at DreamMaker because he likes, “having specific goals to work towards, and I love working for a team that treats employees as a part of the team.”

When asked about the most fulfilling part of his job, BJ said seeing the finished result of any particular remodel and remembering the work he put into it to transform it is fulfilling.

BJ is one of 10 children.  He says his greatest role model has been his dad.  His interests outside of work include hunting, fishing, disc golf and enjoying the outdoors.  He also loves to sing in choirs or in church.  His choir singing brought him to Poland in 2022.  You won’t find BJ eating liver, but he loves bang bang shrimp!

Brennon Shepard

Brennon Shepard

Lead Carpenter

Brennon joined the DreamMaker team in 2023 shortly after becoming a Georgia resident.  Originally hailing from north California, Brennon met his wife, Jennifer, who is from Georgia, while serving in the US Navy.  Prior to joining the Navy, Brennon worked in construction, specifically in framing.  His calm, steady demeanor and ability to learn quickly have made Brennon an invaluable part of the team!

When asked what he likes about working at DreamMaker, Brennon said he appreciates the quality of work and the good work atmosphere.  He enjoys being with his co-workers and finds fulfillment in a job well done and satisfied clients.

Brennon enjoys hunting and spending time with friends and family outside of work.  He often has a story to tell of one get-together or another.  Brennon’s greatest role model is Jesus, and his dad comes in right under that.  He says his dad “is a good father, husband to his wife, and does what is right.”  Brennon isn’t too fond of spaghetti but offer him some tacos, and you will have a happy guy on your hands!

Will Asbell

Will Asbell

Assistant Lead Carpenter

Prior to joining DreamMaker, Will worked in construction doing framing for about 12 years and remodeling for about 2 years.  As the newest member of our team (at least at this moment), Will has only been working with us since June 2024, but it feels like he has been part of the team for much longer!  He loves the atmosphere of the DreamMaker team and really enjoys meeting and serving our clients.

When asked about the most fulfilling part of his job, Will says it is the positive feedback from the clients once the job is complete.

When he is not at work, Will enjoys spending time with his family, grandkids and friends grilling out, swimming, or pretty much anything that results in time spent together.  He loves a Manwich Sloppy Joe and a Georgia Bulldogs game, but don’t serve him celery as an appetizer!  Will also loves Jesus and says Jesus is his greatest role model.
