As a Carpenter Helper, you'll be responsible for preparing for jobs, including placing and removing protective materials, as well as setting up materials and tools. You'll assist our lead carpenter in accomplishing tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship. The typical starting time is usually 7:30 am, although it can vary based on the property owner's, and job's, needs. You'll enjoy weekends off.
Attend daily or weekly meetings at office to plan work
Treat all property owners and their property with courtesy and respect at all times
Site set up, preparing jobs
Assist the lead carpenter with job specific tasks
Completing every job as per specifications
Clean up the job site at the end of each day
Assist with shop/warehouse tasks as needed
Must be self-Motivated

High school degree
Minimum of two years of construction experience
Experience working with residential trade contractors (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, countertops, drywall tile and flooring)
Understanding of construction basics
Valid drivers license and ability to drive a trailer
