DreamMaker Design Consultation: A Step-by-Step Guide

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Central Texas offers comprehensive home design services and individualized remodeling solutions. To set your plans for your home in motion, the first step is to schedule a design consultation with one of our consultants. Today, we will explain how this process works so you can get an idea of how the journey toward a beautiful home starts with us.

Step 1: Initial Meeting

Our DreamMaker designers will schedule a meeting online or meet with you at our Design Center. You may prepare room measurements and bring photos of your envisioned dream living space. This way, the design team can get a better idea of the style you want. Our designers are open to all ideas and follow our DreamMaker Code of Values™ at every design stage.

Step 2: Full Home Survey

Your DreamMaker designer will visit your house to conduct a survey. They will take measurements and photos and note any structural, plumbing, or electrical concerns that may need to be addressed or integrated into the design. The more information we collect, the more accurate the bathroom or kitchen estimate will be.

Step 3: Review of Proposed Design and Costing

During the next meeting, your designer will present an overview of their proposal, where different remodeling options and materials available in the market are taken into account. Our DreamMaker designers can help you compare these various products and features so you can find the one that best suits your needs and personal style.

Step 4: Signing the Agreement

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Central Texas requires signing a project agreement document before starting any work. This document shows essential information about the company’s services, materials, duties, payment schedule, and any corresponding permits from local authorities.

Step 5: Pre-Start Conference Meeting

As soon as the final plans and specs have been signed off on and completed, the project manager will set up a pre-construction conference call to review the project’s timeline, building, and implementation.

Step 6: Dedicated Project Manager

Your assigned DreamMaker project manager is responsible for all communication between you, the designer, and the contractors, if necessary. They will keep you abreast of progress throughout your home transformation journey, ensuring significant progress and milestones are communicated to you.
