How They Started
Curt Trampe started in the remodeling business as the owner of HomeWorks, Inc. in 1998. He and his small team were “all things to all people” in terms of home improvement. Later on, however, he realized that the company needed a business model after seeing how demanding and inefficient its process had become. In 2006, he discovered DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen and decided to become a franchisee.

For Curt, what appealed to him about the brand was the exclusive focus on kitchen and bathroom remodeling, which was in stark contrast to his previous one-stop-shop approach.
