Joe Bender’s first construction company in 1989 focused on framing and siding houses in Denver and Phoenix. With years of experience in the construction industry, he moved to Oregon to continue his contractor work in 1997, specializing in custom homes and remodels.

Since joining DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in 2002, Joe has focused on kitchen and bathroom design, obtained a Master Builder Certification in 2015 and contributed his expertise to numerous successful projects in his 35-year career. 

With Joe’s leadership, our team is committed to top-notch craftsmanship and ethical practices. We specialize in creating designs that cater to your unique needs. John joined our team in July of 2020. As the estimator, he is often the first person our clients talk with. He helps get the process started, showing new clients how we help make their dream kitchen or bathroom become a reality. John really likes solving problems and creating solutions. Helping people find ways that fit their design needs while staying within a budget, John loves talking through problems. “I love the freedom that Dream Maker Bath and Kitchen provides. Joe (our general manager) has empowered me to really work for each of my clients. When your manager trusts you, it opens opportunities do some amazing things!” John has a passion for all things outdoors.

Carolina has been working with interior design for 10 years. At DreamMaker she helps clients to materialize their ideas coming up with functional and beautiful designs. She enjoys working with home remodels because the design process is very personal, and she loves connecting with people. Working with DreamMaker has been a great experience for her since the team is connected, making the whole process successful and pleasant. In her free time, she loves painting with watercolor, going around Portland to draw its beautiful views and visiting her family in Brazil.

Arturo has been in construction for over 4 years and counting. He is one of four Lead Carpenters for DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen. Arturo takes pride in his craft of interior remodeling, painting, instalments of cabinetry along with floors. The list goes on and on. Arturo loves that he can depend on his excellent team and enjoys working with everyone at DreamMaker. On his free time, you will find Arturo on the soccer field playing soccer with his friends.

Shane has been working in construction for over 5 years. As a lead carpenter he sees projects from start to finish. He prepares, sets up, does the remodel itself and manages to transform both kitchens and bathrooms into beautiful spaces making them the showstopper in a home. DMBK provides Shane an encouraging atmosphere and solid system. On his off time he enjoys spending time with his son. Shane values Integrity and respect and shows so in his work. He strives to be a better and better carpenter and person everyday.

Jair has been with DMBK for over 2 years. He works hard in every aspect of his job making sure everything is done with quality and care. His favorite tasks on the job as well as tasks he is most proud of are framing, installing drywall and installing cabinetry. Off hours, Jair is playing Soccer and watching movies with friends. His favorite place to visit is New York but Jair’s all time favorite thing in the world is spaghetti. It is the key to his heart and soul.
