WACO, Texas – (April 11, 2005) – Doug Dwyer , owner and president of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen by Worldwide®, has been named the 2005 recipient of The John Quaregna Award for Young Professionals by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.  The award recognizes Dwyer for an extensive contribution to the remodeling industry early in his career.

 “It’s a team effort, from our corporate staff in Waco to franchisees nationwide with tremendous experience and talent,” Dwyer said.  “Through this team, coupled with God’s blessing on our company, we have achieved a great level of success within the remodeling industry.”

 Established in 2001 and named for Quaregna, who at 38 served as NARI’s youngest president in the association’s history, the award annually honors an individual who has made a positive impact locally and nationally at a young age.  The award judges candidates under the age of 40 who have been active in growing a business, have promoted NARI’s principles, and have maintained a good standing in the industry for at least 5 years.  A new recipient is honored each year for boosting the image of the professional remodeler to a growing industry.

 Quaregna, who personally presented the award to Dwyer at the NARI Evening of Excellence, recently held in Chicago , called Dwyer “a prime example of someone who entered the remodeling business at an early age and has since achieved great success.  He has taken his company, DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen, and made it an industry leader.”
